Eric's Graduation Day

Eric graduated from Bear River High School in Garland, Utah. We are so proud of him for this accomplishment. Sam & I flew to Salt Lake and then drove up to Logan where we stayed with my cousin. My mom came up and we went to the graduation which was held at the Spectrum in Logan. We went to the Coppermill Resturant for lunch....good food! It's been many years since the last time I ate there. It was so much fun to spend time with Eric. I wish the whole family could have been there to see him graduate.

Houston, TX Temple

On Sunday when we were leaving to go home we decided to stop by the Houston Temple. It is so beautiful. The landscaping is amazing. It was our first time seeing it. It is in a beautiful neighborhood, most likely million dollar homes at least.

Galvasten Island

After Steve's graduation we went down to Gavlasten. I didn't know it was an island. It is only about 1 hour out of Houston. I didn't get very many pictures. The kids weren't cooperating. I guess they were having too much fun. We stayed about 2 1/2 hours is all. Then the thunder, lightening and wind started. We started packing everything up and getting as much sand off as we could. As we closed the last door to the Suburban the first rain drop hit. And then it was like a hurricane. We were stuck on the bridge with lightening, wind & darkness. I could see the ocean beneath us...it was really scary until we got off the bridge. It took us about 2 hours to get back to Houston.

This is Steve trying to put up the canopy. We bought a more expense canopy cause we wanted a good one. We discovered that when all the sand (from our previous trip to the ocean in Corpse Cristi) gets in the parts it just doesn't matter how much money you spend on one. We will be getting a different one. We couldn't get it apart when we were trying to leave. Steve was almost ready just to leave it on the beach and let the storm have it. But we prevailed. We won't be using it again though.

Steve's Graduation Day!!

What a great day! Steve graduated...it only took about 26 years from when he first started college. We are so proud of him. He graduated with a BS in Technology Management/Project Management from Devry University. He finished with a 3.89 GPA and graduated magna cumme laude (silver chord).

Trip to Houston, TX

We went to Houston & stayed 2 nights in a hotel. We went for our monthly visit with Courtney and for Steve's graduation. These 3 are guppies! Lindsey has no fear of the water. We had a great time swimming especially since we were the only ones in the pool. I don't know why but the vacations they like the most are staying in a hotel and swimming in the pool.
