My mom is famous in Grass Valley for her patches. She NEVER throws anything away. Her kids and now her grandkids all sport these very fashionable patched levis throughout the summer. She still patches Curt & Clay's pants.

Gotta love thrify Moms. I have one. She embroidered pictures onto my kids jeans, but was emphatic about patching.
What a good mom/grandma! Those kids know they are loved every time they where the clothes she has patched!!
